I've seen this in the past and had to share... the things that matter in life. How do we prioritize what is truly important?

Adolescents are exposed to making tough decisions every day, some of those decisions may include risky behaviors that involve the use and/or abuse of substances such as alcohol, tobacco, inhalants, illegal and prescription drugs. This project aims to look beyond the stereotypes and myths that may exist with the use of these substances, and to examine beyond the appeal, to understand the long-term effects of using these substances in their lives.
The goal is to understand the effects of substance abuse and better develop refusal skills and promote anti-drug messages.
Students will research in depth one of the chosen topics that relate to long-term effects of substance use and abuse. Students will answer specific questions within each topic, provide evidence and site resources, and develop a final presentation product of your choice (from the options listed below).
